St. Winefride’s Well is the responsibility of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wrexham.

Operational oversight is delegated to the St. Winefride’s Well Committee.

The Shrine & Well administrator is responsible for day to day management and is assisted by a small staff and a group of volunteers.

Pets are not permitted (except assistance dogs)

The shrine is open daily throughout the year, with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

1 April - 30 September: Every Day 09.00 - 17.00
(No admission after 16:30)

The Well is closed on Good Friday at 2.00pm.

1 October - 31 March: Every Day 10.00 - 16.00
(No admission after 15.30)

There will be no further admission half an hour before closing.

Many of the Museum items are on permanent display in the exhibition area, adjacent to the repository and gift shop on a daily basis.

Car parking - There is limited free parking opposite the Well.
